SYMPTOMSWhen you draw an object in Word, then convert the object to a picture, and then try to edit that picture in the Word Picture editor, the picture does not appear in the Word Picture document window. CAUSE
The Word Picture editor always sets its margins to the default margins
in your NORMAL.DOT, instead of using the document's margins. If the object
you drew is larger than NORMAL.DOT's default margins, it will not show up
in the Word Picture editor.
and the default margins of your document are set to 5 inches
but the default margins of NORMAL.DOT are 2.5 inches
then the picture will not be visible in the Word Picture editor.
This problem only occurs with drawing objects, not with clip art. WORKAROUNDS
Method 1: Redraw the picture so that its size is within the NORMAL.DOT
default margins before you try to edit it in the Word Picture
editor. (Note: Resizing the picture by reducing the scale will
not work.)
