SYMPTOMS
The error "Unable to Open Specified Library" occurs when you start Word for
Windows NT if either of the following is true:
CAUSE
The error is caused by a function in the AutoExec macro calling the
KERNEL.EXE library. Because Windows NT is a 32-bit operating system, the
name of the kernel has been changed. The AutoExec macro is used to display
the "Quote of the Day."

Disable Bookshelf's integration with Word and use the two programs
separately. Turn off integration by using either of the following methods:
