SYMPTOMSWhen you use a shortcut key to switch to Word, it starts Word the first time you use the shortcut key, but if you use it a second time, nothing happens. The focus switches away from the program you're working in, but Word does not appear. Shortcut keys for other applications seem to work correctly. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Word for Windows 95 version 7.0 and 7.0a. This problem does not occur in Word 97 for Windows because the Shortcut key property is no longer available. WORKAROUNDPress ALT+TAB to scroll between Word and any other open applications. MORE INFORMATIONYou can create a shortcut key for any application by first creating a shortcut to the application, and then clicking the icon with the right mouse button.
