SYMPTOMSWhen you edit a WordArt object that has been pasted on top of a Visio 3.0a object, you will receive the following error message: When you click the Close button, the message will disappear. CAUSEMicrosoft Publisher and WordArt are communicating through lightweight remote procedure calls (LRPC). The dynamic link library (DLL) file responsible for this communication is OLE2PROX.DLL. When OLE2PROX.DLL is trying to order conversations between the container (Publisher) and the server (WordArt), the pasted object from Visio interferes with the routing of these messages and the error message is displayed. STATUSThis behavior does not occur in Visio version 4.0. MORE INFORMATIONVisio is manufactured by vendors independent of Microsoft; we make no warranty, implied or otherwise, regarding these products' performance or reliability.
