SYMPTOMSWhen you double-click the title bar of the Word document window to resize it, the window shrinks to the size of the title bar. CAUSEYou are using a Control Panel device, called WindowShade or Appearance (Macintosh System version 8) that gives you the option to hide windows, leaving only the title bar. By default, WindowShade is configured to minimize the document window to the size of the title bar when you double- click the title bar. WORKAROUND
Change the WindowShade or Appearance Control Panel configuration.
