SYMPTOMSIf you have selected Capitalize Names Of Days as an AutoCorrect option and you type in the name of a day (with the first letter capitalized) into a text form field of a protected document and then enter a space immediately after (before you go to the next field), the first letter of the day will be changed to lowercase. Further, if you enter the name of the day with a lowercase first letter, that letter will not be capitalized. WORKAROUNDThis problem will not occur if you turn off Capitalize Names Of Day in AutoCorrect before you protect and use the form. To do this, follow the steps below:
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Word, 6.x for Windows. This problem was corrected in Microsoft Word 7.0 for Windows 95.
