WD: Difference Between Continuation Notice/Separator

SUMMARY

In Microsoft Word, a continuation notice prints at the end of a footnote that is continued on the next page because of its length.

A continuation separator prints at the top of the second portion of the footnote to indicate that it is not the complete footnote.
