Redrawing Screen with Window Maximize

ID: Q64645

The information in this article applies to:
  • Microsoft Word for MS-DOS, versions 5.5, 6.0

SUMMARY

To size a window in Microsoft Word for MS-DOS with the keyboard, use the Window Size command. To use the mouse, click and drag the size icon located in the lower-right corner of the window.

However, if the View Preferences Display mode option has been changed so that a different number of lines will be displayed on the screen after sizing a window, portions of the Word screen (scroll bars, size icon, etc.) may not be visible.

To force Word to redraw the screen and restore the missing portions of the screen, select the Window Maximize command.
