SUMMARY

It has been reported that running Microsoft Word version 5.50 under the IBM 5250 Emulation program will cause keyboard input from Word to become extremely sensitive. For example, typing a single character will result in several characters being typed, as though the key is being held down.

To alleviate the problem, change the Cursor Control Speed in the Utilities Customize Preferences dialog box from 3 to 0.
