SUMMARYIf you place a frame around a shaded paragraph in Microsoft Word for Windoww, an area of white space surrounds the frame. This causes the border and shading attributes to be split. MORE INFORMATIONThe white space surrounding the frame varies in width. To minimize this white space, choose Frame from the Format menu, and set the Distance from Text option to 0 inches. The amount of white space decreases but is not eliminated. Steps to Reproduce Problem
