SYMPTOMSEven if the Words With Numbers check box is selected under Ignore in the Options dialog box, the spelling checker does not ignore repeated words that contain numbers. In Microsoft Word versions 2.0 and 2.0a for Windows, the spelling checker flags all repeated words, regardless of their content. This behavior is by design. MORE INFORMATION
If the Words With Numbers check box is selected, Word for Windows does
not flag the first word in a pair of words containing numbers. Word
for Windows DOES flag the second word in the pair as a repeated word.
The Words With Numbers option does not affect how Word flags repeated
words.
