Cannot Insert ASCII Null Character From The Keyboard

SUMMARY

All ASCII and ANSI character codes can be inserted in Microsoft Word for Windows using the ALT+<Character Code> key combination except for ASCII 0 (HEX 00). There is no way to enter this code directly from the keyboard; however, you can create a macro to insert this character in your Word for Windows document.


MORE INFORMATION

You may need to insert the ASCII Null character in a PRINT field as a printer command. Use the following macro to insert this character at the insertion point:


   Sub MAIN
   Insert Chr$(0)
   End Sub
