If the Word program window was not maximized when you last exited, the
location of the Word program window will placed on the screen
according to Windows, not Word. The placement is in a stacked
arrangement (similar to the child windows in the SYSEDIT program). The
next time Word is opened, it will appear farther down and to the right
of where it appeared previously in the same Windows session. If the
Word program window was maximized when you last exited, the Word
program window will appear maximized upon opening it again.
