After you create a document from a template that contains FILLIN fields,
Microsoft Word may not prompt you to save your document when you close the
file.
WORKAROUNDUse one of the following methods to work around this problem. Enter the following lines of Visual Basic for Applications code into the AutoClose macro:
When you close an unsaved new document that is based on the custom template
containing the AutoClose macro, Word will display the Save As dialog box to
allow you to save your file.
