CAUSEWhen Microsoft Word starts Microsoft Mail to send an e-mail message, Word initiates a background thread. WORKAROUNDTo prevent Microsoft Word from using a background thread with Microsoft Mail, edit your Win.ini file. To do this, follow these steps:
