MORE INFORMATION

When you edit a formula in Microsoft Excel, if the formula refers to an invalid file name, the File Not Found dialog box appears. You can use this dialog box to select a valid file.

If you allow the File Not Found dialog box to insert the correct file name into your formula, the formula still displays the invalid file name when you view or edit the cell. If you want the formula to display the correct file name, you must manually edit the formula and change the file name.
