SYMPTOMSWhen you open a workbook, some of the formatting that you applied to a cell comment in the workbook is lost. CAUSE
This problem occurs if the workbook is shared.
WORKAROUNDThere is currently no workaround for this problem. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. MORE INFORMATIONIn Microsoft Excel, you can apply many kinds of formatting to text in a cell comment. If you don't share a workbook, all formatting is retained. However, if you share a workbook, only bold and italic comment formatting is retained. When you save and close a shared workbook, the following formatting is lost: Font Additional query words: XL2000
