SYMPTOMSIn Microsoft Excel, you may not be able to shift conditional formatting to another column when the worksheets are grouped. When you have selected more than one worksheet, and you attempt to shift conditional formatting to another column by inserting a new column, the formatting may not be shifted on all the worksheets. On the active worksheet, the conditional number formatting is shifted to the next column, but it is not shifted on the other worksheets. WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, ungroup the worksheets before you insert the additional columns. To do this, follow these steps:
If the problem has already occurred, copy the conditional number formatting. To do this, follow these steps (repeat these steps for each sheet as necessary):
