SYMPTOMS
In Microsoft Excel, you cannot drag, cut and paste, or copy and paste the
drop-down lists that are created when you use the AutoFilter to sort a
list. WORKAROUNDIf you want to move the AutoFilter drop-down lists, you must move the data and click the AutoFilter command again. MORE INFORMATIONAlthough it is not possible to drag, cut, or copy AutoFilter drop-down lists, you can move them if you insert or delete columns or rows that are to the left of, or above, the list range. For example, if there are AutoFilter drop-down lists in cells E10:G10, and you delete column A, the lists shift one column to the left; similarly, if you delete row 7, the lists shift up one row. REFERENCESFor more information about using AutoFilter, click Microsoft Excel Help on the
Help menu, type "AutoFilter" in the Office Assistant or the Answer Wizard,
and then click Search to view the topics returned. Additional query words: xl2000 auto filter drop down
