SYMPTOMSWhen you copy a date from one workbook and paste it into another workbook, the century in the pasted value is incorrect. CAUSEThis problem occurs when the Short date style setting under Regional Settings in Control Panel is set to display two-digit years, or you have applied a two-digit date format to the cell, and you close the source workbook before pasting the date into another workbook. WORKAROUNDTo prevent this problem from occurring, verify the copied cell displays all four digits of the year, or leave the source workbook open until the paste operation has completed.
