XL2000: Incorrect Quattro Pro Converter Information in Help

SYMPTOMS

Microsoft Excel Help states that Excel can open Quattro Pro files with the extensions .wb2 and .wb3, which are for Quattro Pro for Windows versions 6.0 and 7.0. This is incorrect. Excel can only open files for Quattro Pro for Windows up through version 5.0, including Quattro Pro/DOS (*.wq1), and Quattro Pro 1.0/5.0 for Windows (*.wb1).

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
