SBFM2000: "An Unexpected Error Occurred" Clicking Cancel in Database Login Dialog Box

SYMPTOMS

When you click Cancel in the Database Login dialog box, one of the following error messages appears:

Microsoft Visual Basic:

Run-time error '3056':
Login Cancelled

Financial Manager

An unexpected error occurred.
Description: Login Cancelled
Problem remapping the data.

CAUSE

This problem occurs when you do the following:

• You open a workbook containing a Small Business Financial Manager report.




-and-

• You click Update on the Startup Screen worksheet to update your accounting data.




-and-

• You click Cancel in the Database Login dialog box.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
