XL2000: Wrong Workbook Is Printed or Previewed

SYMPTOMS

When you print a workbook or or use the Print Preview command to preview a workbook, the wrong workbook is printed or previewed.

CAUSE

This problem occurs when the following conditions are true:

You have another workbook already open in Microsoft Excel.

-and-

You have a Component Object Model (COM) add-in loaded.

-and-

The COM add-in implements the event handler for the WorkbookBeforePrint callback.

RESOLUTION

To work around this problem, turn off or unload the COM add-in or add-ins.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
