SYMPTOMSWhen you create a hyperlink in a workbook, you may receive the following error message:
CAUSE
This problem may occur when all of the following conditions are true:
-and- -and- WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, use one of the following methods. Move the Chart SheetIf possible, move the chart sheet to an location in the workbook. After you move the chart sheet, you can browse to a location in the workbook when you create the hyperlink.Type the Location ManuallyIf you do not move the chart sheet, you cannot browse to a location in the active workbook. In this case, you must manually type the location in the "Named location in file (optional)" box.For example, if there are two worksheets, Sheet1 and Sheet2, in a workbook, and you want to create a hyperlink in cell A1 of Sheet1 to cell A1 in Sheet2, do the following:

You do not receive an error message if you browse a defined name in the
workbook, even if the chart sheet is the first sheet in the workbook.
