SYMPTOMSIn Microsoft Excel 97, if you click the Camera button, and then press ENTER, you may receive the following error message: If you click Details, you receive an error message similar to the following:
CAUSEThis problem may occur if you press ENTER immediately after clicking the Camera button for the first time in the current session of Microsoft Excel. WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, do not press ENTER immediately after clicking the Camera button. Instead, click the worksheet and allow Microsoft Excel to create the picture. After Microsoft Excel creates the picture, you can move it to a different location. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. MORE INFORMATION
In Microsoft Excel 97, you can click the Camera button to take a picture of
a range of cells. This picture remains linked to the original range of
cells you selected. If the original cells are changed, the picture is
automatically updated.
In earlier versions of Microsoft Excel, if you press ENTER immediately after clicking the Camera button, you do not receive an error message. Additional query words: XL97
