SYMPTOMSIf you are using the Internet Assistant Wizard, and you specify an existing HTML file into which you want to insert your Microsoft Excel table, you may receive the following error message, even if the string mentioned in the message already exists in your HTML document:
CAUSEBecause the Internet Assistant Wizard is case sensitive, you may receive the error message mentioned in the "Symptoms" section if the string in your HTML document is not capitalized exactly as it is in the error message. For example, if you have the following string in your existing HTML document
you will receive the error message.
RESOLUTIONBecause the Internet Assistant Wizard is case sensitive, the string specifying the insertion point for your Microsoft Excel data should be exactly as follows:
Only the letter "T" in the word "Table" should be capitalized.

The Internet Assistant Wizard is not new to Microsoft Excel, but it has
changed significantly since it was released as a free add-in available on
the Microsoft World Wide Web site in January 1996. The Internet Assistant
Wizard is now an installable component of Microsoft Office and/or Microsoft
Excel and has been enhanced to take advantage of the new Internet features
of Microsoft Office, Microsoft FrontPage, and Microsoft Internet Explorer.
