SYMPTOMSIf you rotate text in a cell, the text may not be visible in a worksheet. CAUSE
This behavior occurs if you specify a small angle rotation (between
approximately -5 and 5 degrees, depending on the cell location) and you use
cell borders.
RESOLUTIONTo rotate cell text at very small angles, do not use any of the cell borders. If you want to use cell borders, increase the angle of rotation (more negative or more positive) so that the slope of the sides of the parallelogram is not as steep. As you increase the angle of the rotated text, it moves closer to the actual cell location. STATUSThis behavior is by design of Microsoft Excel. REFERENCESFor more information about rotated text, click the Index tab in Microsoft Excel Help, type the following text rotating, textand then double-click the selected text to go to the "Center, align, indent, or rotate data in a cell" topic.
