SYMPTOMSIn Microsoft Excel 97, when you copy and paste an embedded chart, the pasted chart may be larger or smaller in size than the original copied chart. CAUSEThis problem occurs if the Zoom tool on the Standard toolbar is set to a value other than 100 percent (100%) when you paste the copied chart. WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, set the Zoom tool on the Standard toolbar to
100 percent before you paste the copied chart. Note that you can also
change the Zoom setting for a worksheet by clicking Zoom on the View menu.
However, using this method clears the clipboard, and you must recopy the
chart before you paste it.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. MORE INFORMATION
In Microsoft Excel 97, when you copy and paste an embedded chart, the Zoom
setting for the worksheet is applied to the pasted chart. As a result, the
size of the chart changes if the Zoom setting for the worksheet is not 100
percent.
