SYMPTOMSIf you use some of the arguments with the GetSaveAsFileName method in a Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications Sub procedure to change the default values in the resulting Save As dialog box, the default values are not changed. CAUSE
This behavior may occur when you use the FileFilter, Title, or ButtonText
arguments with the GetSaveAsFileName method.
RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, do not use the FileFilter, Title, or ButtonText arguments of the GetSaveAsFileName method. STATUSThis behavior is by design of Microsoft Excel 98. However, when you use the FileFilter argument, the default file type is not
modified by the argument, as in the following sample code:
