XL98: Excel Crashes When Adding Third Conditonal Formatting Rule

SYMPTOMS

When you click the drop-down arrow next to Color in the Format Cells dialog box, Microsoft Excel 98 Macintosh Edition may quit unexpectedly.


CAUSE

This problem may occur when you attempt to apply three conditional formatting rules to a cell.


STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Excel 98 Macintosh Edition.
