SYMPTOMSAfter you copy a range of cells, the Copied Cells menu item may be missing from the Insert menu. The Insert Copied Cells menu item is also missing on the shortcut menu when you hold down CONTROL and click a cell. CAUSEThis problem occurs if you do either of the following after the copy operation:
WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, select the range, hold down CONTROL and click the edge of the selection, and drag the selection. A menu appears that lets you choose whether to shift cells down or right, and whether to copy (paste) the selection or to move it. You need to reselect the cells to repeat the action. MORE INFORMATIONAlthough the menu items are missing, the copied cell information is still on the Clipboard. The Paste menu item is still available and you can continue to paste the copied selection. on the Help menu (or on the Balloon Help menu if you are using a
version of the Macintosh operating system earlier than 8.0), click the
