The form's DefaultEditing property determines whether you can modify
records in the form. You can set the DefaultEditing property to Read
Only, Data Entry, or Allow Edits.
STATUSThis behavior no longer occurs in Microsoft Access version 7.0. The DefaultEditing and AllowEditing properties have been replaced by Allow Edits, Allow Additons, and Allow Deletions.
