Setting up Microsoft Access with the Administrator Setup lets you run
Microsoft Access from a network server. This reduces the amount of disk
space needed by workstations running Microsoft Access by storing most of
the Microsoft Access files on the server.
To run a workstation installation, run SETUP.EXE from the Microsoft Access directory on the server, not from the SETUP subdirectory as stated in the Microsoft Access "User's Guide." Use the full path to the SETUP.EXE file to run a workstation installation, as in the following example:
