Novice: Requires knowledge of the user interface on single-user computers.
CAUSEIn the Spelling Options dialog box, under Ignore, Microsoft Access 97 selects the option "Words in UPPERCASE" by default. The text that you are checking consists entirely of uppercase letters, so it appears that the spelling checker is not working properly. RESOLUTIONType some misspelled data in lowercase letters, and then use the spelling checker. When the Spelling dialog box appears, click Options. In the Spelling Options dialog box, under Ignore, click to clear the "Words in UPPERCASE" check box, and then click OK. MORE INFORMATIONSteps to Reproduce Behavior
