SYMPTOMSAfter you edit the value of the DisabledExtensions key in the system registry, you see the following error message when you use the Text Import Wizard to import data:
CAUSEYou have Microsoft Jet 3.5 Service Pack 3 (SP3) installed, and the DisabledExtensions key value is more than 31 characters long. RESOLUTIONWARNING: Using Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious problems that
may require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot
guarantee that problems resulting from the incorrect use of Registry Editor
