ID: Q92675
|
The information in this article applies to:
-
Microsoft Access versions 1.0, 1.1, 2.0
SYMPTOMS
Advanced: Requires expert coding, interoperability, and multiuser skills.
If you place the insertion point in a field with the data type OLE Object,
choose Insert Object from the Edit menu, and then click the cancel button
in the Insert Object dialog box, the record will still be "dirty." A dirty
record is one that has been edited.
If the field is part of an existing record, the previous contents of the
field are not deleted or modified, but the record is rewritten when you
leave it.
STATUS
This behavior no longer occurs in Microsoft Access version 7.0.
