If you do not want to have the Recent File List appear on the File menu,
follow these steps.
In Microsoft Access 7.0 and 97Open Windows Explorer and select Find/Files or folders under the Tools menu. Search for the file Wrkgadm.exe. Run the Wrkgadm file after it is located. Create a new System.mdw file by stepping through the screens. Now when you open up Microsoft Access and click the File menu, the file list is gone.In Microsoft Access Versions 1.x and 2.0If you are running Microsoft Access under Windows 3.1, click the MS Access Workgroup Administrator to create a new System.mda. If you are running Microsoft Access under Windows 95, follow the procedure for Microsoft Access 95 and 97 above, but note that you are creating a new System.mda file rather than a new System.mdw file.Steps to Reproduce Behavior
