The SETUP /N command for installing Microsoft Access on a workstation
displays the following question:
To run from the network server instead of your local hard disk drive, choose No. If you do so, Setup then presents the following message:
This is confusing because it implies that a full copy of Microsoft Access will be installed on your local hard disk drive. This is not the case. Only the following files will be copied: In the ACCESS directory:
In the Windows directory:
In the WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory:
These are the necessary files for running Microsoft Access from the network.
