ACC1x: Operators As Field Names in Query Cause Error Message

SUMMARY

If you use logical operators as field names in a table and then create a query that uses any of these fields, you receive the following error message:

Syntax error in query expression "<Table>.<Field>".


MORE INFORMATION

To correct this problem, open the table in Design view and change the name of the field listed in the error message to a name that is not one of the logical operators.

The following are logical operators:


   And, Between, Eqv, IIF, Imp, In, Is, Like, Mod, Not, Or, and Xor
