SYMPTOMS
You cannot drag an item from a 68K version of an application to a Power
Macintosh version of an application (when you attempt to do this you will
receive a Stop icon--a circle with a slash through it).
CAUSEYou cannot pass information from a 68K- version of an application to a Power-Macintosh version of an application because these applications are registered differently. Power Macintosh applications are registered in the PPC Registration Database, while 68K applications are registered in the Registration Database. RESOLUTIONTo work around this problem, use the Clipboard to copy the item from a 68K application and paste it to a Power Macintosh application (and vice versa).
