SYMPTOMSIf you attempt to import a Microsoft Excel Worksheet into Microsoft Graph and specify a named range from the workbook, you receive the following error message: If you click OK, you are returned to the Import Data Options dialog box. If you click Cancel in the Import Data Options dialog box, all existing data in the Graph object is lost. When you return to PowerPoint, there is no data or Graph placeholder. WORKAROUNDMethod 1Paste the data from Microsoft Excel into Graph. Do not use the Paste Link option because all existing data will be replaced.Method 2Specify the exact range of the data in your Microsoft Excel spreadsheet.
