GRAPH: How to Share User-Defined Formats

ID: Q240115

The information in this article applies to:
  • Microsoft Graph versions 2000, 97 for Windows

SUMMARY

This article explains how to create user-defined graph formats in Microsoft Graph. You can apply these new formats to new or existing graphs. You can also copy and share these new formats, which is useful for standardizing the look of graphs created by more than one person.

MORE INFORMATION

When you create a user-defined format, Microsoft Graph creates a file containing this format. The file is called "Grusrgal.gra" and its location depends on which version of Microsoft Graph you are using.

  • In Graph 97 for Windows, the Grusrgal.gra file is located in the C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office folder.

  • In Graph 2000, the Grusrgal.gra file is located in the Windows\Application Data\Microsoft\Graph folder, where Windows is the folder where Microsoft Windows is installed.

After creating the Grusrgal.gra file, you can copy it to the Office folder or the Application Data folder on other computers, and can copy it between Graph 97 and Graph 2000.
