SUMMARY
If you create an equation that contains brackets in Microsoft Equation
Editor and then scale the equation to a larger size in a Microsoft Word for
Windows document, the closing bracket can become jagged. This problem
frequently occurs when the brackets enclose two lines of text. The jagged
closing bracket prints as displayed.
MORE INFORMATION
This problem occurs with bitmap fonts only, which are available in fixed
sizes and are not scalable. When a different size is requested through
scaling, the bitmap font is resized; this often results in an uneven image.
