Microsoft Graph Resizes Font When Editing Scaled Graph Object

SUMMARY

When you edit a scaled Microsoft Graph object that contains text, the text returns to the original point size. In other words, the text is no longer scaled.

When you scale an OLE object (such as a Microsoft Graph object) in a server application (such as Microsoft Word for Windows), the server considers the object to be a graphic. However, when you open the object for editing, the client application returns the text to the original point size.

In Word for Windows, the text reverts to the original point size regardless of whether you use the \s or \* switches in the EMBED field. As a result, if you scale the object to a larger size, the text becomes smaller after editing; if you scale the object to a smaller size, the text becomes larger after editing.
