ID: Q96047

The information in this article applies to:
  • Microsoft Equation Editor, version 1.0
  • Microsoft Word for Windows, versions 2.0, 2.0a, 2.0a-CD, 2.0b, 2.0c
  • Microsoft Windows versions 3.0, 3.1

SUMMARY

The Styles dialog box illustration on page 72 of the "Microsoft Equation Editor User's Guide" incorrectly lists Times Roman as the default font for the L.C. Greek style. The font should be Symbol instead.

MORE INFORMATION

If you select a Times family font (such as Times, Times New Roman, or Times Roman) for the L.C. Greek style, lowercase Greek letters display incorrectly. If you choose the Lowercase Greek Symbols from the symbol palette, Equation Editor produces lowercase Greek letters correctly.
