SYMPTOMSIn Microsoft Excel version 5.0, you cannot hide grouped objects in a custom dialog box. When you group objects in a custom dialog box and set the Visible property for the objects to False, as in the following line of code
the grouped objects will still be visible when you run the dialog box
(regardless of whether you run it from a macro or choose the Run Dialog
button on the Forms toolbar). However, when you run this code, the objects
WILL be hidden on the dialog sheet.

To hide objects in a displayed dialog box, set the Visible property for
each individual object to False. To do this, you must first ungroup the
objects by doing the following:

To group objects on a dialog sheet, hold down the SHIFT key on your
keyboard and use the mouse to select each object. Then, choose Placement
from the Format menu, and then choose Group.
