SYMPTOMS
In Microsoft Project, if you open a file using the Visual Basic for Applications OpenFromDatabase
command, any of the following error messages may appear:
-or-
-or-
CAUSEThis problem occurs because the SaveToDatabase routine does not correctly save the year 2000 to the Microsoft Access database. WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, find the tasks that have Constraint Dates
in the year 2000 and create relationships with other tasks so that the
constraint is no longer needed. For example, you could create a milestone
task at the end of the year 1999 and link the constrained tasks to this
milestone with an appropriate lag value. This eliminates the need for a
constraint on the task in the year 2000.
