Microsoft Paintbrush for MS-DOS, versions 2.0, 4.0
SUMMARY
Paintbrush pictures must be created in two-color mode in order to
merge with Ventura Desktop Publisher. This information applies to
Microsoft Paintbrush versions 2.0 and 4.0 for MS-DOS systems.
When working with Paintbrush and Ventura Desktop Publisher, if the
Paintbrush file is not saved in two-color mode, it is possible that
Ventura will slightly distort the picture. Symptoms include vertical
or dashed lines on the right side of the picture. Some versions of
Ventura Desktop Publisher might also require that the picture be
saved in a compressed TIF format in addition to being two color.
