SUMMARY

Not all of the patterns work correctly with the paint roller tool. There are two "black dot on white background" patterns in PC Paintbrush Version 3.00 that do not fill correctly. Also, there is a similar pattern in MS Paintbrush that exhibits the same problem.

When one of these patterns is selected, filling an area with the roller does not work correctly. Only a couple of rows of pixels are filled at a time; the mouse must be moved up and down over the area while clicking to fill the entire area. This problem was found using EGA and CGA in 320x200 4-color mode. Also, the problem was found in Hercules mode using a customized pattern.
