The information in this article applies to:
-
Microsoft Paintbrush for MS-DOS, version 4.0
If Microsoft Paintbrush is taking too much memory or is printing very
small pictures, try the following:
- Run PBSETUP.
- Choose None for printer selection.
- Print from a word processor (for example, Microsoft Word) that
loads PCX files so you can print full-page pictures.
- You may want to pick a lower resolution with fewer colors (for
example, 4-color EGA instead 16-color VGA).
Another workaround is to boot the machine with a floppy disk that
includes only MS-DOS files and a mouse driver. This frees up RAM.
